On average, it takes around 24 hours for the sensor to be calibrated. After which it can report correct glucose values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:rgb(0, 0, 0)\">This is due to the fact that soon after the insertion of the glucose sensor, physiological processes occur as the glucose sensor and the body equilibrate. These processes are part of the body&#8217;s natural response to glucose sensor insertion.
