So basically, if your heart&#8217;s BPM ( beats per minute ) is 60, it doesn&#8217;t mean that your heart is beating at one beat per sec. The correlation between HRV, autonomic nervous system, and cardiac mortality (heart-related disorders ) has been shown in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ahajournals.org\/doi\/10.1161\/01.CIR.93.5.1043\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>various studies<\/em><\/a> over the last few decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the fastest-growing use cases are around indicating recovery state\/readiness of your body. Various <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC6888606\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>randomized trials<\/em> <\/a>have proven the correlation between HRV and recovery. There are few key things to take care of while measuring HRV:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Measure HRV around the same time every day to plot a trend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep all other conditions like sleep, diet, exercise similar to avoid these factors from influencing your HRV. To measure the impact of one, keep others fixed during the experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The increase\/decrease of HRV is a more accurate indicator than the absolute value.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HRV &amp; your training routine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the best ways to use HRV-based recovery information is to integrate this with your training routine on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ultrahuman.com\/?currency=inr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Ultrahuman<\/em><\/a>.
