The right way to savour Gulab Jamun
• As Gulab Jamun is dipped in sugar syrup and then served, it is advisable to squeeze the gulab jamun and get rid of any extra sugar.
• Try to dust the sugar granules off in case of a dry gulab jamun.
• You can have a small portion of gulab jamun at a time. This will satisfy your sweet tooth and prevent you from overeating.
• Try to walk for 10 minutes after consuming it.

Sugar syrup is glucose, which is a simple carbohydrate that spikes blood sugar levels instantly. A 10 minutes walk will help lower blood glucose and increase the metabolism rate. Consuming too much sugar can lead to weight gain, high blood sugar levels, cardiovascular diseases etc. However, exercising some caution while eating gulab jamun can save you from all the above-mentioned problems.
