Your Tesla now understands more than the road – it understands you.

The UltraSync with Tesla PowerPlug connects your Ultrahuman Ring AIR with your car, syncing sleep quality and recovery data with real-time driving behavior.

Whether it’s your morning commute or late-night highway miles, the UltraSync with Tesla PowerPlug translates your health markers into actionable insights, helping you manage stress, avoid fatigue, and build safer habits behind the wheel.

UltraSync with Tesla brings a health-first perspective to your driving experience, with your health data staying private and never shared with Tesla.

It retrieves vehicle information, such as speed, drive mode, and cabin settings, directly from your car, and combines it with key health metrics like sleep, recovery, and heart rate from your Ultrahuman Ring. All data is processed locally.

What’s new?

Drive Readiness Score

Before you hit the road, the UltraSync with Tesla PowerPlug calculates a Drive Readiness Score, which is a dynamic rating of how safe it is to drive, based on sleep quality, efficiency, circadian rhythm, and sleep debt.

UltraSync also recommends the most suitable driving mode – Chill, Standard, or Plaid – based on your recovery levels. If your score is high, you’re good to go. If it’s low, the app prompts you to pause, recover, or delay your trip. Scores below 40 are considered unsafe to drive.

It also factors in how long you’ve been awake or driving, to create an adaptive score that shifts with your day.

Stress insights from your drive

Stress insights

Any journey in your Tesla is auto-detected in the Ultrahuman app. Once confirmed, journeys are added to Ride History within the UltraSync card.

As you drive, Ring AIR monitors heart rate and heart rate variability to map your stress response in real time.

At the end of your drive, you’ll see your route visualized, with highlights showing where your nervous system appeared relaxed or elicited a stress response.

After a stressful trip, the UltraSync with Tesla PowerPlug helps you reset. Breathing exercises, cold exposure, or mindfulness can help your nervous system recover for a more productive day, a safer onward journey, and improved long-term health.

Your car knows if you’re sick

When your recovery dips, immune markers shift, or body temperature rises, UltraSync suggests – and can configure – fan speed and climate settings to reduce cold stress, minimize pollutant exposure, and ease airflow – helping your car support you when you’re run down.

Fun health nudges

The UltraSync with Tesla PowerPlug also delivers playful, personalized nudges to help you check in with your health.

  • Your car slept more than you: When your Tesla’s idle time beats your sleep hours
  • Your car moved more than you: When its mileage outpaces your step count
  • Your car is more charged than you: When your recovery score is lower than your EV’s battery level

Summary

The UltraSync with Tesla PowerPlug is a fun and intelligent way to connect your body with your car – and a must-have for users of both platforms.

But it also plays a serious role. By helping you assess whether you’re rested and ready to drive, the UltraSync with Tesla PowerPlug adds a layer of safety and awareness. It’s also a mindful tool for reviewing stressful journeys and nudging recovery – so you can reset and show up better each day.

The UltraSync with Tesla PowerPlug is available for Tesla owners. It costs $69.99 a year or $6.99 per month, which drives its unique insights. It’s rolling out to users over the next few days.
