Ultrahuman’s Early Summer Release Sprint saw a wave of new capabilities, upgrades, and enhancements designed to make your Ultrahuman experience more insightful than ever.
This sprint represented a unique moment in our development cycle – a focused period where our product, engineering, design, science, and performance teams came together with a singular purpose: to reimagine what’s possible.
It was the culmination of months of experimentation, iteration, and cross-functional collaboration.
Each release showcases a new capability, insight, or experience. Read about them all below:
Body Signal

The Body Signal update for the Ultrahuman Ring AIR gives you a long-term view of your health by tracking behavior-driven metrics like sleep, HRV, and recovery.
It highlights positive changes through redesigned Streaks and introduces Milestones that capture sustained progress over weeks and months.
You’ll also get Personal Best badges to celebrate record performances. Streaks don’t have to be consecutive – the system recognizes real-life patterns while keeping you motivated. With a clean UI and shareable insights, Body Signal acts as a health compass, helping you stay aligned with your body’s signals and make smarter decisions over time.

Ultrahuman Home

Ultrahuman Home continuously tracks air quality, light, temperature, noise, and humidity — then delivers real-time, science-backed insights to improve sleep, recovery, and overall wellbeing.
Using UltraSync™ technology, it works in tandem with the Ultrahuman Ring AIR to reveal how your space impacts your body, from sleep disturbances triggered by noise and light to the health effects of airborne particles, VOCs, and CO₂.
By connecting the dots between your environment and your health, Ultrahuman Home helps you create a calmer, cleaner, and more restorative space for you and your family.

Smart Tags

Smart Tags are a simple, powerful way to add context to your health data and connect the dots between your biomarkers and your data.
With hundreds of predefined tags, it’s easier than ever to annotate your journey. Many are automatically detected based on patterns in your biomarkers and surface as Smart Tag suggestions. You can also add or edit them manually in seconds.

New Parent PowerPlug

The New Parent PowerPlug tweaks the Ultrahuman Ring AIR’s sleep score and recovery algorithms to account for disrupted and irregular sleep patterns. The aim is to help new parents get a true picture of their sleep duration and make informed decisions to boost recovery and reduce sleep debt.

Brain Waste Clearance

The brain produces metabolic waste throughout the day, including amyloid beta and tau proteins, which are cleared by a process called glymphatic clearance. If allowed to accumulate, this waste is associated with cognitive decline and neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s disease.
The Brain Waste Clearance signal is based on a combination of sleep, recovery, and temperature markers, reflecting the conditions under which glymphatic clearance is known to be most active.
The result is a groundbreaking marker for brain recovery, only on Ultrahuman Ring AIR.

Ultra Age

Ultra Age is a dynamic, science-backed insight that reflects how your body is really aging, not just on a chronological level, but in response to your lifestyle. It combines multiple signals to track the true pace of aging and how it changes with your behavior. It consists of:
- Brain Age: Derived from Brain Waste Clearance scores.
- Pulse Age: Based on arterial flexibility and pulse stability from the PPG sensor.
- Blood Age: Available via Blood Vision (US and India) with internal health markers from a blood test.
You’ll also see your Pace of Aging, revealing whether you’re aging faster or slower than your actual age.

Sleep Algorithm 2.0

The way you sleep is hugely personal, and the quality of your rest is affected by your age, sex, and BMI.
The Ultrahuman Sleep Algorithm 2.0 is a massive leap forward and offers the most personalized and intelligent sleep tracking.
Sleep Algorithm 2.0 uses advanced machine learning algorithms, validated by over 125,000 nights of Ring AIR sleep data, to understand how your age, sex, and body composition uniquely shape your rest.
Read more about it in our dedicated explainer blog.
UltraSync with Tesla PowerPlug

The UltraSync PowerPlug connects your Ultrahuman Ring AIR to your Tesla, syncing your health data with driving behavior.
It delivers a Drive Readiness Score based on sleep, circadian rhythm, and fatigue, offering a clear signal about whether it’s safe to drive.
Trips are automatically tracked and added to the Ultrahuman app, and Ultrahuman Ring AIR monitors stress levels using heart rate and HRV. It visualizes stress points in a summary of your journey, so you can reflect and de-stress for a more relaxing day or onward journey.

Caffeine Window upgrade

Ultrahuman’s much-loved Caffeine Window feature has just been upgraded. Now, it’s personal with effortless tagging, real-time body caffeine levels, adaptable cut-off times, and detox advice.
Logging has been redesigned to be quick and seamless. The new Caffeine Bar includes a vast library of drinks, and your most-used beverages stay pinned for one-tap logging.
Most notably, Caffeine Window now syncs with Ultrahuman’s Brain Waste Clearance data. It analyzes your previous night’s sleep, looking at deep sleep, HRV, temperature, and more, to determine how well your brain cleared toxins. If clearance was strong, you’ll get a Caffeine Bonus with a later cut-off time. If it was poor or fragmented, the app may recommend an earlier cut-off or even a full Caffeine Detox to support recovery.
